Process safety support ( HAZOP ) was provided for an installation associated with organic peroxides, a technology requiring a particularly careful approach to hazard identification, process control and safeguard evaluation.

Organic peroxides require a high level of awareness in relation to process design, storage, handling and operation. The analysis of such installations must consider scenarios related to temperature control, decomposition, incompatible materials, storage conditions and the consequences of potential process deviations.

This project confirms experience in specialty chemical installations, where the quality of the HAZOP study has a direct impact on the safe design and operation of the facility.
